Great deal on great equipment

I bought 2 bundles of the folding poles and Diadem daypack for upcoming hiking trip in Scotland. I am sure the poles will be great. It is possible to make the filing poles shorter than 115cm— just unfold them, tighten them into place and simply don’t extend. Re: the daypack— I had to buy a separate rain cover which is fine and cheap enough to do. The little Velcro tab meant to hold the camelbak is not strong enough to hold it up when full so it does sag downwards. But if you hook the plastic opening over the sleeve, it should hold hopefully.

Hiking sticks and backpack

Hiking sticks are great, but wish they went a little shorter. I’m 5’3” and my arms are are little high up when using the poles. The backpack I was disappointed in. For the money I wasn’t expecting to have to go out and buy the water pouch. There isn’t a good way to secure your bite valve so it tends to get in my way.
