Had a set for myself and ordered a set for my husband so we can go hiking together. Amazing improvement in balance and mobility especially on uneven terrain.

These poles are inexpensive but so far have held up. Their light weight so I can store them in my pack when not in use and work great when in use.

10/10 recommend. 5 stars on Yelp. Plus, PRICE. IS. RIGHT. These trekking poles are AMAZING, especially for people that suffer from chronic sweaty palms like myself. The cork absorbs moisture so you don't lose your grip. I used these to hike a section of the PCT while carrying around 40 lbs. They aren't kidding when they say trekking poles are like an extra set of legs. It took so much pressure off my legs, back and hips, especially while going downhill. They were super beneficial during river crossings. I was able to feel out the places to step with the poles and keep my balance. I did have one collapse on me one time, but I believe that was user error. I did not read the instructions beforehand and the tightening screw was loose. For everyone who thinks trekking poles are "dorky" or "only for old people, you are SO wrong. I was 26 when I starting using mine and I will NEVER go back. I definitely do not recommend spending a ton on money on trekking poles because they're in your hands not on your back so weight shouldn't be a factor. The price is right with these.
